Bo

Damsel Bo keeps everyday life running in the iron castle; without her, Rusty would have ended in the scrapyard a long time ago. If Bo had been born a boy, she would have turned into the perfect knight. And even though she regularly rescues Rusty and Cole when they're stuck in a big mess, she seldom receives a thank-you for her help. But Bo is modest, and she'd already be tickled pink if Rusty and Cole would help her with the chores every now and then.

Cole

If Rusty isn't causing any trouble, Cole is. Cole is only ten million years old and therefore a very young dragon who thinks that having fun is the most important thing in life. No one can understand his enthusiasm for spitting fire, perhaps because he leaves heaps of ash lying around all the time. His peculiar humor always hits home exactly at the wrong moment. Nevertheless, his cheerfulness and his loyalty towards Bo and Rusty outweigh by far his minor faults.

Knight Rusty lives in an iron castle and thinks he's the bravest, strongest and smartest knight in all of Scrapland. But he's wrong. Very wrong. His humor and constantly positive outlook compensate for his lack of knightly skills and turn him into a loveable hero. In his rusty cash register beats a good heart that helps him out when his head has led him astray. Still, a little damage can never be avoided...

Chopper

Chopper is Rusty's faithful clockwork horse who always stands by him no matter what he does. Even though Chopper doesn't speak, he understands everything that is happening around him. He is always at the right place at the right time. And he's fast. That is, if Rusty didn't forget to wind him the night before.
