Emma Fernley-Granger (Mavournee Hazel)
Emma, 16, is an English wildlife enthusiast and conservationist. She's exuberant, extremely knowledgeable and quite clumsy. Emma works for the common good. She will always look on the bright side – even while she trips and falls into a dark hole. She's unstoppably curious about the creatures around her. Emma lives in England and met Sam through the Wildlife Youth League. Occasionally she joins the Foxes on their international travels. Sam and Emma share a love of wildlife and the outdoors. Emma – unstoppably curious – is always up for an adventure.

Kingston Fox (Charles Mayer)
Being a travel writer, Kingston dwells in a private world of books, travel and exotic destinations. Sometimes the kids think he wouldn't notice an earthquake shaking the house down, but like most dads Kingston has a dry sense of humour and knows just how to tease his kids. He's quirky and cool, and always comes through for his family in the end, even though his methods might be a bit different.
-
Laura Fox (Tiffany Lyndall-Knight)
Laura Fox is a busy working mum with five kids – but that doesn't stop her having a whole lot of fun. Apart from her travels as a wildlife photographer, she's busy in the local community, as the twins' scout troupe leader. Being Sam Fox's Mum, Laura needs to apply liberal doses of humour and calm to life and that's what she manages to do every day.
-
Jordan Fox (Angus Russell)
Jordan's as much of an adventure junkie as the rest of the family. However, Jordan (or Agent J) is the sensitive side of the twins. Where Harry is hyper and out of control, Jordan is gentle and more level-headed, and believes he is an animal whisperer. Jordan is scared of heights, unlike the rest of the Fox family.
-
Harry Fox (Harry Russell)
Harry (also known as Agent H) is a hyper-active kid with an imagination to match. He is a risk-taker who never sits still and is up for anything. If not out on adventures, he and his twin brother, Jordan, often hang out in the backyard shed where they have a radio and computer equipment and run “Firefox Control”.
-
Nathan Fox (Andrew Lindquist)
Nathan is about as cool as a big brother can be as he owns his own adventure travel company. Nathan can do anything adventurous and has extraordinary survival skills. Nathan and Sam hang out together camping, hiking, canyoning, caving... you name it, they do it. Sam loves to go with Nathan on his adventure travel tours in the school holidays – he has learnt a lot from witnessing Nathan's expertise in the field. Nathan has a dry sense of humour and is a walking encyclopedia of bush survival.
-
Sam Fox (Remy Brand)
Sam is a charismatic kid... the kind that everyone has known at some stage. He's the boy at school with the sparkle in his eye, the cheeky grin and the one whom everyone loves. The one who is not afraid to try, to speak up and who makes you want to be brave. As Sam says, he doesn't look for danger. He just has a knack for being in the wrong place at the right time. If you found yourself in trouble, you could do a lot worse than having Sam Fox around. Sam thinks before he acts – but goes ahead and acts anyway. Luckily his unique sense of humour never leaves him.
-
April Fox (Luca Sardelis)
April's as much of an adventure junkie as the rest of her family. Being the only girl amongst four boys means she's learned some particular survival skills. April is very capable outdoors and shares Sam's ability to face dangerous situations head-on. April looks up to Sam in the same way he does Nathan. April is sassy, feisty, quick-witted, and takes no prisoners. Plus with her regular karate training, April can take anything in life in her stride... except at times the twins. So when they're too much she retreats into the safe haven of a good book.
-
Rikki McGrath (Stanley Browning)
Rikki hangs out with Sam and Josie whenever he can and makes the trio of friends complete. Rikki loves music, can't be without his phone & has a strange phobia of birds. If it wasn't for Sam, Rikki would spend most of his time in his bedroom online, probably reading music websites. Rikki is intelligent and has a great sense of humour, but is not very courageous or practical, particularly in a crisis – any danger is out of his comfort zone. But Rikki's brave when he has to be – and he always has to be when he's around Sam. Quite often you can find Rikki hanging out at the Fox House, with or without Sam, much to the rest of the Fox family's annoyance.

Josie Brown (Emily Bagg)
Not a tomboy, but not a girly girl either, Josie's always up for an adventure. Josie is bright, active and likes to be prepared by thoroughly researching her next destination. Josie never backs down, thinks practically and isn't afraid to get her hands dirty. However, she's not sure about some of the situations she ends up in thanks to Sam being such a danger magnet. Josie is an excellent student, which makes group assignments with Sam a bit tricky as he's often distracted by his various extreme adventures. Sam has let Josie down more than once but she always forgives him as she accepts Sam for who he is – and he always has a good excuse.
