Join Cece on her journey to become the Wise One in Spellbound, a captivating series about a young American dancer navigating the challenges of her new life as a witch at the prestigious Paris Opera Ballet School. With a mix of romance, friendship, dance and magic, this series will leave you spellbound from start to finish!

Cece Parker Jones’ life is turned upside-down when she discovers she’s a real witch. Magical mayhem ensues at the Paris Opera Ballet School when Cece begins to practice her spell work, making things harder to juggle as she balances new magical identity, dance, and simply being a teenager! Things get even more complicated when she accidentally summons her enemies, a group called the Mystics.

SEASON 2:
It’s a new year at the Paris Opera Ballet School. Cece starts second division with a vow to focus solely on ballet. But all that changes when a new magic takes hold inside her. Cece must balance both magics, Wizen and Mystic, and work harder than ever to rise to the top of her art in ballet, but also hip-hop! She will face new challenges, new magic tricks, a new romance and even a new roommate! This mysterious Jade, coming from Australia, is likely to shake things up a lot at the barre and in their social lives. Mia also has a lot to explore about her new magic skills, while the dance pression is harder than ever for Simone, Finn, Jack and Benoit! With Amy and Lola’s help, and Lizzie and Ginger never too far, Cece will need to dig deep into Wizen history to figure out who she is, and maybe even more.

Characters

  • CECE PARKER-JONES

    Cece is a funny, vivacious, powerful dynamo. Born and raised in a small town just outside of Boston, Cece’s spent her whole life dreaming about ballet, unaware of her magical identity. Cece is a Wizen, a witch with untapped potential, she slowly discovers how to juggle dance and magic. Cece soon learns that not only is she the Wise One, the most powerful Wizen in the world, she’s also part Mystic and must wrestle with the inner conflict of being part of a lineage she’s been trained to fear.

  • SIMONE SOUTER

    Simone’s a fiercely competitive dancer who keeps herself grounded with her spiritual practices, which include consulting with her trusted Tarot cards. She is Cece’s instant BFF and Mia’s main rival.  A lover of the environment, Simone repurposes her vintage clothing with her growing sewing skills. When she learns that Cece’s a Wizen, she doesn’t doubt it for a second and is there to help in any situation. It doesn’t hurt that she falls fast and hard for Lola, one of the Wizens sent to train Cece.

  • MIA BANKS

    Smart as a whip, a killer dancer, and lover of rules. A type-A personality to her core who feels safest when things are meticulously planned, in hard-copy, and laminated. While she may come off as cold, she is just misunderstood, making it harder to make friends with her competitors. It’s not until she meets Cece that she understands real friendship, and her relationship with Jack helps bring her into the friend group as well. Mia’s in for a big surprise when she learns that she’s a Wizen too! She needs to learn what that means, and accept that being a Wizen means that not every detail in life can be planned and laminated!

  • JACK RYDER

    He has a photographic memory and can memorize any choreography after only seeing it once, making his roommate Benoit totally insane. Jack is used to being the best, so he’s challenged when an injury forces him to take a back seat, giving Benoit a chance to shine. The boys rivalry makes for a rocky start but soon realize their competitiveness helps them both excel and become reluctant besties.

  • BENOIT DUCASSE

    Born and raised in Paris, the son of a ballroom dancer who is a natural fit at the Paris Opera Ballet School. A rigorous student with a clear vision to make company, he is willing to work twice as hard as Jack to make his dream come true. What he doesn’t expect his how Cece will loosen up his rigid persona, causing him to learn to have a little fun, even eventually becoming besties with his rival and roommate Jack.

  • FINN CASSIDY

    Finn’s not only a MENSA level brainiac that speaks multiple languages fluently (making him the resident tutor for all), he is an excellent dancer too. Not one to be put in a box, Finn breaks the traditional gender roles in ballet. He is also the host of his own podcast, Jeté Minute, where he chronicles all things dance at school.

  • JADE HUDSON

    A high-level Mystic sent in by her mother to befriend Cece, make her choose her Mystic side, and bring her home, with the promise of becoming Mystic Empress as her reward. Jade soon learns that Cece’s dad David and her mom Zoe were once paired. When David gave up his magic to marry Lizzie, Zoe lost her magic completely. Jade realizes not only did her mother have a secret agenda, but the Mystic crown was never hers, it was always going to be Cece’s. Jade takes matters into her own hands with dramatic and devastating results.

  • the wizens

    Teenage Wizens who are nothing like their grandmothers before them. They are determined to take their magic out of hiding and they need Cece to step into her role as the Wise One to accomplish their mission. They are tasked with training Cece with as much Wizen knowledge as possible before Cece’s eventual Introduction Ceremony.
